# Png2Psd > A browser tool for AI raster layer separation, layered PSD export and prompt-based object extraction. Public product facts reviewed: 2026-10-23. Website: https://www.png2psd.com/ ## Capabilities and limitations - Layer separation: upload an authorized JPG/JPEG, PNG or static WebP; describe desired visual elements; review the returned raster layers; edit and export PSD or individual PNG layers. - Prompt Cutout: upload an image and describe one part to keep; compare the returned image with the source and download PNG. PNG output is not a guarantee of transparency; opaque results are flagged in the interface. - AI separation reconstructs image content. It does not recover original vector paths, editable font text, adjustment layers, source history or exact hidden pixels. Review faces, fine text, edges, shadows and occluded areas before use. - Figma and Canva workflows require a supported image export first. Native projects, private links, components, fonts, Auto Layout, PDF, video and animated timelines are not imported or recovered. These are independent workflows, not official integrations. - Png2Psd does not offer a general existing-PSD-to-JPG/PNG importer. Layer PNG download refers to layers generated or edited in this application. - Layer-separation uploads: at most 30 MB and at least 262,144 total pixels. The minimum is a total-pixel count, not a per-side minimum. - Running your own AI task requires sign-in and sufficient credits. Public examples are available without an account. Processing time and output quality vary. - Upload only images you are authorized to process. Conversion does not grant rights to third-party designs, characters, brands, fonts or extracted assets. Do not infer an automatic deletion deadline from these documents. ## Pricing New accounts receive 50 non-expiring signup credits, once per account. No credit card is required to register. - Starter: USD $9.90, 500 credits, one-time payment, valid 6 months. - Creator: USD $29.90, 1900 credits, one-time payment, valid 6 months. - Studio: USD $59.90, 4000 credits, one-time payment, valid 6 months. - Layer separation: 2 credits per output layer up to 2,610,000 input pixels; 4 credits per output layer above that threshold. Deducted after successful PSD generation, not at download. Actual image allowance depends on output layers and resolution. - Prompt Cutout: 10 credits per successful extraction, regardless of input resolution. - Failed tasks do not consume generation credits. Purchased credits are one-time packs with no automatic renewal.
